Bundelkhand, historically one of the important regions of centralĀ India, this land is now distributed between two states of India i.e Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, Comprises of hilly Vindhyan region, big and small ravines, and a plain. Rivers like Dhasan, Tons, Ken, and Betwa, in deep ravine-fringed channels, are of little use for irrigation, though there is Dam over Betwa that provides water for irrigation and electricity it is not sufficient to cope with annual requirement for water.
